Better Days (2025)
This fine art photography book was produced as the final project for my third-year Photography Module in BA Media Production. The first half, shot in black and white, reflects on the place of individuals within modern developed society and the feelings of entrapments that come with it. In contrast, the second half transitions into vivid colour, shot primarily on Lomography’s purple film to evoke playfulness and a shift in perception towards. Most images in this section were captured on 35mm film using a medium format camera, resulting in fully exposed (3,5 x 6) film strips (including the sprocket holes) as a visual metaphor for stepping outside conventional boundaries . Every stage of the process, from shooting and developing to scanning, printing, and hand-binding, was completed by me.
